Now in service...
Our recently-purchased SAFOP-Leonard 1000/1800 CNC lathe is now in operation.
This three-axis machine (equipped with a motor-driven tail stock) can swing up
to to 98.5" diameter and has a turning capacity of 74" diameter by 256" long
over the cross-slide. We've already put it to work turning landing gear
components for the new
Airbus A380 triple
deck airliner.
